Promoting in Santo Domingo!!
Hello, my company, Pressure Promotions, from Orlando, Florida will be visiting Santo Domingo from May 16th-20th. We are a major promotions company in Florida who work with the top hip hop, reggae and reggaeton artists. Lil Wayne, Young Jeezy, LL Cool J, Jim Jones, etc.....my question is this....We work with the top DJs and would like to know if while we are there, we can have one of our DJs spin at one of the clubs. I know the salsa/bachata genre is huge there but would anyone happen to know some clubs that would use an American Hip Hop/Old School/Reggae DJ for a couple of nights? He is the biggest DJ in this area and he would not cost that much. I would also like to know if a night like this would work in Santo Domingo? Any ideas or comment? Thanks....

A couple of places come to mind where such a dj could play. You have to know that DR is huge in the dj scene, but this is techno based. Every Dj in the world that is worth to know has performed here. But the thing is that hip hop music is not too hot here right now. Maybe a place like Eclipse, jet set or platinum would fit you. And if your dj is really hot, a place like praia, loft or blanc could agree to have him. You should contact this places, and make sure you tell them how hot is your dj in florida.

I don't suppose he would be talking about ol' blue eyes huh
BTW - where do they get the idea of using the term old school? - I thought you really had to be old to use it.
