From Santo Domingo I want to organize a whale watching trip to samana
I have a bunch of questions
Who flies to Samana from here? How much are flights? What times do they leave? Do they fly every day?
Also is their a tour operator in Santo Domingo that I can book whale watching with or would I need to just take the flight to Samana and try to organise something when I get there?
It is my understanding that the possible end of the season this year will be the 24th of this month, but only the whales know their departure plans. The excursions will continue for as long as there are enough whales in the Bay of Samana to make it worthwhile for the passengers.
Have you gone already? cause I'd like to join that trip for whales too(if the budget fits for me though...)so let me know if it is still available.
Cheers

I am going tomorrow morning. I have decided to take the Caribe tours bus to Samana. Airport will be too much hassle.
I will be on the 10:00am one which gets into Samana at 4pm. If you are on the same bus just look for the gringo with the long hair. That will be me.
Ah…
That’s a shame cause my work starts from tomo'. I've been looking forward to do it though, errr.
I will just have to find another chance then. But I hope you will have a wonderful time there and let us hear your story later

I had a nice trip. Got to see a mother and her baby calf. It was pretty cool.
