Default Good Medical Care? Good Luck!

I just happen to work breifly in what is considered on eof the better hospitals in the Dominican Republic and was so outraged I have to quit. Would you beleive they used the same syringe for the intire day on all patients that have an I.V. Catscan Proceedure? About fifty to sixty persons. Just to hold down cost I was informed. In the States this would be criminal, but I was ttol it was not a problem here ( however if you have money or status the syringe was changed). "DO NO HARM IF YOU HAVE WEALTH?" HOW DO YOU SLEEP AT NIGHT?

NO, I would not believe it! Sounds as though there is more here than you are telling us so I checked your previous 13 posts over the past year but got nothing concrete from those.

If your comments are true & can be backed up with some form of proof, please tell us which hospital, who the administrator of the hospital is & who is responsible for this section of the hospital. This is a dangerous, life threatening practice & needs to be followed through on - I am sure there are 3 or 4 people well capable of getting this information to the correct authorities!! ~ Grahame.

Wow! - This sounds primative.......... While I do not agree that posting such information in this forum is the correct place to expose this wrong doing, I do however belive that YOU have a duty to man-kind to alert the authorities. It does not matter how far you go, in fact, if you belive that this is happening, then call the President of DR and tell him. - Let me repeat, If you have first hand knowledge that this practice has occured or is occuring, you MUST notify the authorities. If you feel pressured or threatend, then go to the newspaper or TV station. - - - -- Think about this, if it was a family member or loved one of yours that was in such hospital and this practice was going on, would you want it to stop and do everthing you could to see that it does not happen? - I am sure that your answer is yes.

Do the RIGHT Thing and Report this to the Authorities -Tell EVERYTHING and do it for Real and do it NOW!

Same needle? Or same catheter but with a different needle?

I would be surprised about the same needle. I know even in public hospitals where there's a great lack of supplies they use new/clean syringes. Personally I insist that any syringe being used on me is taken fresh out of the package in front of me...

What clinic or hospital? You better post a response or this thread is erased as just another one of those "drunk at the bar" threads.

Is this a real opportunity to get in on a soon-to-be-erased thread? So that means I can post ANYTHING? Any wild rumor? Any unsubstantiated accusation?

I heard that the Cardinal had an affair with a woman I know "from work". And that they like to go to this cabana in Santiago called AZB's Love Shack. The thing is, they stopped going there cause the quality of the cocaine kept plummeting. Supposedly, when you did this new low-grade coke, it inspired you to insert long chains of the letter "c" into your post. CCCCCCCCCC. Like that.

I also heard that......

This is highly questionable as I asked my wife who was a nurse and who's sisters both still are, one in San victor and the other at Jose Maria Cabral in Santiago and she has never heard of this. She has told me some incriminating stuff before but nothing this outrageous.

Furthermore, if you want to see a poor public hospital in action stop by the ER room (if you can call it that) in Moca - they do change the syringes BTW!
