There must be more practical and less costly ways to raise a woman’s self-esteem than these costly procedures. However, I doubt women do them for the benefit of men. I remember once, a dear friend of mine dissapeared for a couple of weeks, and the next time I saw her, she very dramatically disrobed down to her waist, and asked me with a sing-song tone to her voice: "tadada! how do I look?" She had taken me by surprise, and I didn’t know what to make of it. I told her frankly that I did not see her any different. It so happened that she had saved her money religiously for months to pay for a breast augmentation/reduction surgery. I couldn’t tell the difference.
