Spin off of the Indian food in the capital post...

Anyone know where to find Thai food, Greek/Lebanese food, Vietnamese food or any other ethnic food. If so, can you give me the name and area....thanks.

There are lots of Lebanese restaurants. Al Emir, across the river on the San Isidro road (by residencial Oasis--marked on the map), has the best Arab food in town, and the owner and staff are terrific. Try the Sunday buffet. There aren't any Southeast Asian restaurants, just Chinese, Japanese, and Korean.

Default Info

Besides Menu.com.do, El periodico El Caribe has good restaurant information:
http://www.elcaribe.com.do/restaurantes.aspx

Also, every Thursday I think they still publish their Guide on City Life, the Bureo Magazine which is really good. The online version is alright but they do not include all the details, so you need to buy the magazine and they have not updated the Bureo website in weeks.
They always include a huge section on restaurants and information on new openings.
