Hand Surgren/Plastic Surgen in the capital

I need to have surgery on my hand in the near future, and I would like a plastic surgeon or a hand surgeon to do it. I am interested in commendations for these types of doctors in the capital? Thanks!

If you have a problem finding one let me know, my neighboor and buddy here in Santiago is a microsurgeon who specializes in hands who has worked and taught abroad in the US and Spain. He has a clinic at Las Corominas.

Give Dr Batista a call, he works in the capital too - in fact that is why he is there today, he travels there every week.

My sister is a doctor (not a surgeon though) and she works at a very good private hospital in Santo Domingo. Its a chain of Spanish (from Spain) private hospitals that are opening up in The DR (Bavaro and Santo Domingo). She tells me is not a cheap place, but basically most of the doctors who work there are top notch. For instance my dad had to have bypass surgery and we took him there because the heart surgeon who works there is considered to be the top heart surgeon in the country. He did a great job.

Anyhow give them a call if you wish and see what they can do for you.

Aslo, I forgot to tell you, Dr Batista also is friends with another microsurgeon who lives in the capital.
