Looking for any new reviews of BRICIOLA in the old town, I think they have been through a ownership change and just curious if it's still a good experiance, (food wise )
OMG!!! I loved the Briciola, the last I was there was last summer I hope it is still a great dining experience! I will be in DR in December and hope to go there, my husband proposed there!!
I ate there on August 18th. While it is a beautiful place it was extremely hot in the courtyard with no breeze or fans. The food was very average and I for one will not be back.
We went as a 'special treat' for my birthday in July. The setting was lovely in the evening, out in the courtyard, although it was a little airless. Service was fitful, reasonably attentive. The food, however, was singularly uninspiring. I wouldn't return; it's not good value.
