Have you heard of airplanes? Yeah, they exist; many of which fly daily from the US to the DR.

Brugal used to (or maybe they still do it) have a blimp that they flew all over the metropolitan area and as far away as Juan Dolio for tourists and anyone else. I don't know if they still do it because they used to depart from Herrera and that airport is now closed, replaced by La Isabela.

However, if you want you can contact SAP to do a flying tour over the metropolitan area. The photos were not taken as part of a flying tour of the city, but rather a flight from SD to Punta Cana and vice versa, with the pilot giving a mini-tour of the city from the air while enroute.

I am guessing, it was a cessna single engine. good view and great pictures. NALS does it in style.
