Those are some terrific photos - thank you for posting them as I loved seeing them. Is this some type of tourist outfit that takes people up for an hour or so flight? If so, how much does it cost, and do they have a website or other contact info - I would love to take a similar trip in either a plane or helicopter like this.

Thanks NALs!

I will take a shot at captions:

Photo "1: At the bottom is Ave Abraham Lincoln looking west, from 27 de Febrero (the big street on the right side) to the ocean, looking to the west.

Photo #2: At the center is where Lope de Vega meets Ave Abraham Lincoln (the big blue tower was going to be Banco Intercontinental's new home) - this is just above 27 de Febrero

Photo #3 - no idea

Photo #4: the Botanic Park in Arroyo Hondo, looking south to the ocean

Photo #5 - no idea

Photo #6: the mouth of Rio Ozama coming out, with Zona Colonial on the left side

Photo #7: the intersection of 27 de Febrero and Ave Abraham Lincoln, looking to the east (Nacional Supermercado and the big Presidente sign over the intersection

Photo #8: Mirador Sur, with the new millionaires tower going up - something like 42 floors with one million $$ apartment per floor???

Photo #9: Above Jardines Ozama or Los Mina North looking down Rio Ozama to the ocean

Great pictures Nals. Santo Domingo is a huge city. I'll stick with Santiago, thank you.

PS: NALs, how big was the telephoto lens you used to be able to get such clear pictures all the way from Connecticut??
