Amazing
Just returned from SD and must say it was an amazing experience.
Thank you to all that answered my questions on this forum.
I have never visited the same place more than once for vacation but I am going to return to SD later this year.
Just a little advert for Hotel Discovery, it was a great place to stay, clean, quiet, and next to everthing. I know it is new and doesnt have a lot of reviews, but it was a very good place for a good price.

Review of the Hotel-
Stayed 3 nights, very clean, room was small but expected, desk people very helpful and polite, everything worked, no electric failures, never had to complain about any room problems, safe from the time you go in the hotel door, nice restaurant/cafe with good prices
Paidd 47 for room with full bed. No disturbances distractions, located right next to el conde.
What more can I say.

As for why the experience was amazing,
Met a lot of nice and helpful people. I am used to traveling historical type vacations, and wanting to see the colonial zone was amazing, I dont do the AI, but also not the backpacker type, but like to get lost in the local culture, so vacations become very adventurous, as with the case of SD.
I like the challenge of learning a culture and language, and being successful out of my comfort zone.
This is all sort of babble I guess, but that is why I went to SD and I wasnt disappointed.
Its very difficult to explain but it was amazing.
