Default Spanish -> English translators for hire?

Hi, I'm new around here. I'm looking at gaining residency in the Dominican Republic. I don't speak much spanish though and I would like to hire a translator to help me get around the city (I'd like to find a place to rent as well as make a few basic purchases).

Does anyone have a website or contact info for a good/trustworthy translator?

Thanks!

What is your hourly budget for a personal translator?

I'm not really sure what a standard rate would be. I'm willing to pay good money for good service. Is $20/hr USD reasonable?

Default Maybe too late

Hi!

Maybe you can PM me with details. I have done several similar interpreting jobs for Americans looking to find their way with the least amount of grief in the DR.

Judging from your handle I can only imagine you charge a very reasonable rate as it appears you really need the work, jeje.
