Well, I'll give a few suggestions:

Italian/Pizza: La Cuccina de la Mama

Grill & Steaks: I don't like chains so I am not a big TGI Friday's fan. I would recommend Malecón 7 or D'Luis Parrillada; both on the Malecón in the Zona Colonial.

Dominican/International: Cafetería El Conde in the Parque Colón

Many people enjoy Mesón di Bari but I personally do not. The atmosphere is great but I've found the food in my visits subpar.

Well lets get a head count and see whos coming out on Friday the 30th!!! Talldrink and TJ put your heads together and come up with a place and I will meet you guys there after 7pm, I'm driving down from Sosua and gotta pick up the wife at the University and class finishes at 7pm!!! I'm up for anything I am not picky.Carol I also need you to prod Berzin and Frank the Tank into coming to the Capital they will be in Santiago.

I want to take my husband out for his birthday on Wed. I want to make a romantic evening - a memorable one. where can i take him for dinner? maybe a show or something?
