Talldrink not to say you didnt see the whole thing because you were 3 hours late to your own event but????? She actually comes off as a nice girl on the phone, but who knows she might be a slut from a good family, I dont know but I do know she is going to hook up with him on Sunday so it is what it is.

I shouldn't be showing interest in this as like you say, it is what it is, and it doesn't take any particular charm, skill or confidence to buy a woman who is for sale, but how have they been communicating over the phone if they have no language between them? Will they be needing a translator on the date?

we will wait and see. I bet there is more to it than what you 2 think.
I will be very shocked to see this girl spending a romantic weekend with a guy who is like her grand dad. This is totally against the law of logic. A girl, hot as a model, from a family which seem well off, mom a dentist and the girl drives her own car to spend a weekend with a man who could be older than her grand dad? Just doesn't make sense.
We will wait and see. If this really goes the way you guys think it will go, I will just give up all and become a Buddhist monk in Tibet. maybe the we had them all wrong, maybe she is an expensive hooker after all. Who knows. But to say this trick will work on most girls in a place like this, is simply insane. I am even shocked to see the girl is even taking interest in this matter. Maybe maybe jimmy is calling her day and night and she is simply nice enough to talk to him.
The phone number was not just handed to him, he insisted on it and also shoved his number into them. Who knows what he has agreed to buy from them in order to see her again. Girls make all kinds of plans with you and its easy to get a number of anyone here but to actually get her into your bed, is a whole different reality.

Guys, i still dont get the whole 'good family' thing here. They were our table neighbors for a few hours. So one is a doc and the other is whatever, they were 'nice' enough not to move to another table (which I would have done 10 mins into this debacle with Jimmy - no offense Badpiece!!)

The girl and mother were very pretty, I dont discount this. But we are really blowing this whole episode out of proportion. To call it a PICK UP from a good family is entirely WRONG.

So how did this get labeled as such? Like AZ said, it is still wait and see. Even if she goes over there on Sunday, what are the plans? Even if they have a few Cervezas from a glass instead of Pequeñas straight from the bottle, it is still an Anna Nicole in DR episode all over again.

Since Jimmy did LOOK like a Gringo with some money (cause all you gotta do in DR to play this part is LOOK FOREIGN!!!!!) I'm sure this has alot of holes to to be worked out.

Badpiece, if courage is what you were teaching Jim, then kudos to you. A lesson learned and I give you props. You got it, and this you did win. The rest, lets just not go there...

Just to interject one thing:
Jimmy was very lucky to have run into some nice people with a good sense of humor and/or patience, but in any other circumstances, jimmy would have gotten hurt bad by jealous husband or a boyfriend. I would be very reluctant to go to any decent place with him if this is his future plans of conquest. The trick he was using doesn't work in those places and especially with the people who go there. I was actually shocked to see his stray arrow in the dark actually struck a victim. This would have been a huge mistake if he had tried this pickup trick with the wrong family.
By the way talldrink: I had the burger last night there. wow. I even ate 1/2 of the burger of my date. Hehehehe.

This is turning into a subject better suited for the Mars/Venus section.

Funny how we all saw the same thing that night, yet have differing viewpoints. Who is right?

So far it seems that Badpiece is correct. This is why I've decided to purchase his 10-week online course entitled "The Art of Pimpnosis". If you act now, he'll throw in a free alligator suit complete with velvet hat.

Because we all know how well alligator skin breathes in the hot Caribbean sun...
