Two luxury hotel-condominium beach front towers with two private Heliports and own Marina...will be located in Villas Del Mar between Guavaberry Beach Club and a future Ibitza by Metro ( next to Albatros Club Resort ) ... With this one will be 2 Marinas in the area , plus Juan Dolio will have 3 Golf Clubs ...

No signs of constuction yet on Las Olas. I think they are waiting to finish Costa del Sol ll and Marbella first.
Heard today that the old Punta Garza site had been denied permission for 16 stories so plans are being redrawn for 12 which has been pre-approved (sort of - CAN'T QUITE FIGURE THAT ONE OUT AS IT IS ON THE BEACH!).
Will see if I can find out who's behind Ibiza for you aegap.

Ibiza by Metro Country Club ... new project by Group Metro , will be located between Guavaberry Beach Club and Albatros Club Resort ( next to future Aramis Marina & Yacht Club ) The project will be announced next month officially.

They made a big hole on the beach ... like they were trying to reach the rocks but only sand was extracted in huge quantity ... sand bank was found in Juan Dolio !

Yep......there was an armada of dump trucks trucking it away and now there are two huge mountains of sand left-one on the property and one filling the parking area on the non-beach side of the street!
There is also a huge cess pool hole that is collecting the seepage from all the 'filtrantes' from the septic tanks of the surrounding properties. Great breeding ground for mosquitos.
There is a protest being lodged in San Pedro regarding same as well as over the 'smell' from the site.
Imagine what I think as I sit looking out from my balconey which overlooks the site (see my blog pic's from last year) keeping in mind that it is a building a half a block away that is lodging the complaint!!

Also ...yes it is Metro Group that is proposing Ibiza.....wonder if they're going to do Las Olas first???
