How is it different from the other areas of DR at the moment ?

Well as an example given earlier , after the sucssesful Atabey I project , half of the apartments in Atabey II are sold already preconstruction . You can check this out with any realtor who has it listed , they will show you only what is still available .

The rules of the post include note making personal comments directed at any one person. Steve has chosen to call me out- well it will be interesting to see if the site moderator has something to say about this.

Concerning the volcanic rock, I am sure there is a market for residents who love to take evening strolls barefoot on the jagged edges, stand next to the edge and throw out a fishing line and bask in the comfort of their pierced toes. It makes for great business at the local clinic, if they decide to open and take the injured. I'm told there is a guy in India who sleeps on nails- perhaps we can sign him up for a unit- presales, take 30% and deliver the unit in 4 years....

I will be travelling to the Dr again shortly having returned from there two days ago. During my last trip, I noted much of the same going on- except that during this 5 day visit the business people complained about how dead business is in the area- probably due to the weather. The comments about the recent crime were also topic of conversation, not only locally but I found interesting that the President of the DR is now concerned and trying to find answers to the rapid rise in crimes.... oh yes it exists in the new South Beach of the Carribbean as well as the original South Beach- problem is you can find news about crime in the latter, but its not written about ref the Caribbean version.

I have in mind next visit to take some pictures of Juan Dolio to post these for all our viewers to enjoy, and to provide an ample and complete view of the area, its beauty and its potential. Perhaps we can expand upon the area, and give a full view of how small it is, and yet how diverse a community reside there and its surrounding communities.

Peace and love to all our friends.

1-Paranoid- definition: poorly written posts;
2-Better views in Piscataway - an owner can enjoy the smell of the dirty SanPedro Pond with the decaying cows dumped there from their lovely new volcanic terraces;
3-Some pictures are rather nice- the floors and wall finish look very very cheap but up to the standars of may projects being delivered to unkowning investors buying from afar;
4-People living at the New South Beach are not paranoid- well actually, no one really lives there yet - just those few who do seem relatively normal residents in the Juan Dolio neighbourhood.

Your not killing each other and as two grown adults I'm sure you will work it out, ideally behind the scenes via PM or email.

The beach I have visited a number of times is looking pretty good, white, huge, pretty etc. I myself have had any volcanic rock toe piecing experiences

My only question is what will happen to the newly remodeled beach when we get tidal surges from hurricanes, I guess that's a wait and see.

I would like for information on the facts posted above.

Individuals continue to make unsubstantiated claims on these posts, but in reality there is no information available to support their comments. From others, we have heard that the project is in fact doing very poorly and project financing is an issue.

Where is the truth? Sounds like another snowball.
Melt away quickly down south.
