From official website : Condominium Colonia Tropical is owned by a group of foreign investors and has been operated as a hotel complex ( Barceló Colonia Tropical ). Now it is converted in separate apartments to be sold independently and it will also be extended by additional buildings...
The project is managed and supervised by Klaus Luka, a German entrepreneur with more than 15 years experience in the Dominican Republic, who is specialized in consulting and construction... The project consists of one main building and 5 villas, which are already in existence. These facilities will be remodeled into 20 separate apartments and 8 commercial spaces.
An additional a new 6-store-building (“Torre Tropical”) with 12 apartments will be built resulting in a total number of 32 apartments... Next to the Condominium Colonia Tropical there is an additional lot and there are plans for the construction of an additional 5-store building with a total of 15 apartments...

Steve G - I know you're a BIG fan of the new Juan Dolio, and there may be plenty of others who feel that way too - but not me. I'll take the old JD I knew in the late 90's anyday.
