Those photos look like they could have been taken 6 months ago. There are huge inactive/abandoned construction areas with unpaven roads that make the place look like you could film "Blackhawk down" there.

Which photos are ''those'' ? Which are ''inactive/abandoned'' construction areas ? Marbella by Metro ? Frank posted recent pics of the road works in front of Marbella construction . I posted later few renders of Mariposa project and few someones pics of Ocean World as an example of the artificial beach next to its Marina . Could you plz clarify a little ?

I'm pretty sure that I can speak also for Steve but Mikey we won't be the ones who are going to do the paving

Yesterday a boy of approx. 7 years old, he had something to eat, went into the pool at Costa Caribe got unwell and drowned.
Very sad

was there the othwer day to visit a friend...you can shoot a cannon down main street and only hit maybe a dog ....if lucky..l
was also in lt and the same...one beach hotel had a sign out on road....800 pesos a night...

That place the Real is doing ok , I was staying in Boca chica but almost every day we went to the hotel Real in juan dollio , they have a great pool there and also have a bar there where you can get drinks and food served at the pool. The restaurant in the front and the pool area bar are now under new managment, there is a cuban gentleman and his wife and daughter who are running it now . The service is good and the people are pleasent. The road out front is still not paved yet but there working on it .Despite the current world economic situation Juan Dollio is still being developed , im guessing they are banking on the future because I do not see anyone living there ? anyone know whats going on? I heard prices are dropping all over the world , I cant see them getting any sales . 2 bedroom condos in the south and north are going way down , you can get one for about 45k to 65k so I cant see juan dollio doing much better, any comments on current situation there in juan dollio? Im planning to retire in a few years and would like to hear about this
