What do you want to know? Houses are not selling. There are many commercial developments for sale as everyone has gone out of business as there are no tourists. Maybe the apartments onthe beach are selling. Everything is still going up in price. A lot of Russians investing at the moment so some developments have been sold 100% to russians. pm me when you get here for another perspective!!!!

Aren't Russians those guys that wear those little bitsy bathing suits with the big barrel chests and beer bellies flopping over them. Couldn't resist, I'm sorry, but can't imagine a whole elevator full of them going down to the beach. Would it be like a pack of Penquins, mas or meno?

No it's not we still have a LOT of American clients but the good thing Group Metro is doing is that they don't concentrate only on the American market but have also entered the European market with success I may add.

I like this forum but sometimes you have some wankers on it with nothing else to do than to talk BS so therefore I don't waste my time and energy on it.
But for serious people I make the time to sit down with them and talk.

Nope johne ... you have an old worn concept of Russians living in Brooklyn , most Jewish immigrants from former USSR . The image you described are seeing in Brighton Beach in summer . No , the ones Matilda mentioned are directly from Russia or Ukraine , younger , sportsmen like usually accompanied with model looking young ladies . The ones that became rich in the past 10 years and have bought the best RE in Europe ... and now they are here in DR . Sosua , Cabarete , Punta Cana ... and now Juan Dolio .

As I live in a major city and within blocks of the Modern Russia Man and his' McMansions I have a very good view and understanding of who these people are.And, slightly off topic--would like not to enter into an elevator with them especially if they are the majority owners of the building. (as someone mentioned).

BTW-I wouldn't go around tooting my horn on the above stats you mention as I would think there would be a great number of people that would not enjoy living in a Russian controlled building.

But, what do I know?
