They have the permission to build up to 15 - 20 stories in Juan Dolio beach or non beach side now ... Aquabella is under plan redesign now... possible 20 story tower ...not sure about marina location

Aramis said ( on the telephone so not another rumour) that they would start building the first tower by the end of March - for definite. We are now near the end of March and no sign. The cement factory is still where the towers should be. And they have stopped sending me promotional emails. So no idea what is happening there. Marbella appears to be happening in that they are knocking down Playa Real hotel. Not using dynamite and doing in one day as would happen elsewhere, but a few Haitians with pickaxes, and the odd JCB!!! Still it looks like it is half knocked down now. No idea about Aquabella.

They have been doing work by the cement factory the last two days. Could be disassembling it

As of yesterday the Director of Tourism has posted new signs by the beach, and the Politur are enforcing it!..........
no animals
no glass bottles or glasses
no loud music
no bar b queing
closes at 8( i think)
no sleeping over night on the beach
no motores or bicycles

Marbella is already under construction ( phase 1 - 2 towers ) , about Aramis towers ... well something is not right about its location - on the render it will be located next to Guavaberry Beach Club , ... but there is the sign in front : Property of Starfish Resorts and not for sale ...and Starfish office people say they have nothing to do with Aramis . The huge plot where the cement factory is Metro had plans to build Ibiza tower but it was canceled. May be that will become Aramis ??? It is truth Aramis people are difficult to contact ( even office of Association for Development of Juan Dolio tried but no result )

I live very near Plaza Oasis, near the Hotel Punta Garza, what they break down.
What is coming there on the spot from Punta Garza.
I hear about a building from 22 floors and a marine-harbour.
Is that right?
What is the name of this building, what is coming there?
Who is the owner?
When they are starting with the construction?
What about Costa Linda?

Aquabella tower - 20 floors maximum in Juan Dolio ( could be made few top floor penthouses each with 2 floors with stairs inside - so you have 21 floors building) , construction will start during 2007 (?) , it is still on the architects table - redesign of the plans...Rodriguez Sandoval About Costa Linda ? Very good question...

According to new regulations in Juan Dolio anyone can build up to 20 floors but with the use of 25% of the plot for the construction , up to 15 floors using 30% of the plot and up to 10 floors using 40 % of the plot. 40% of the plot for the construction will be the maximum . After 4 floors you will need an elevator. The distance between the wall (to the neighbors) and construction - 5 meters minimum . Means you can build up but giving more space for the green and recreation areas. Sounds very reasonable .
