Good snorkeling on the south coast?

Besides taking a day trip to either Catalina or Saona...are there any good snorkeling spots near by to boca chica?

Swimming out to Matica in BC is ok...but i swear the same fish are there year after year. I like to go to playa caribe for the waves...and i will also go to juan dolio.

I heard there was a spot in guayacanes (sp?)...but my friends took me there a couple of years ago..and while its a nice quiet stretch of beach...not good for snorkeling (perhaps we were in the wrong area?)

Hopefully someone can suggest something...cuz i know i am gonna get bored in BC....but that is not a bad thing.

boca chic i found was good on some days.waters lovely and warm and normally crystal clear.
