Frank Reyes concert!
not sure exactly where he is playing...but i saw a ton of posters around Boca Chica last week saying he would be playing on the 25th.
Gotta feeling that this will be around BC somewhere as i didnt see ad's in the capital or in juan dolio.
Just thought i would give a heads up in case anyone on the south coast would like to see him.

Frank Reyes is playing at Jumbo Super Fria on March 24 (next Saturday) which is in Boca Chica. Jumbo Super Fria is a huge new colmado right across La Bomba on the autopista. They do not know if they will be charging or not for the event!

thats awesome. 2 weeks ago there was a great block party on saturday night. Many bachateros and some good dance music. Nobody famous...but a really fun time. I was thinking...that damn...they should do something like that every week! They really have cleaned up Boca Chica....however...they havent replaced the old seedy night life with anything NEW...and non prositution related! SOME of us adults like non sex entertainment when on holiday.
ANyway..i think its great frank is playing in BC. I hope they dont charge..or charge too much so that the local folks can enjoy it.
*sigh* wish i could be there for this one!

Thanks so much for the information.
How far from the Burger King is Jumbo Super Fria? My flight this past weekend was cancelled due to a snow storm so I resheduled for this upcoming weekend. Looks like I got lucky with the change.

Frank Reyes
I saw Frank Reyes in La Romana a few months ago, a great show, seems too big for a Colmado, even if it is Super. However enjoy it will be great wish I could be there.
