Default Where to stay Boca Chica?

Looking for a very nice place in Boca Chica, on the ocean if possible. Are guest allowed in the AI resorts, I heard that some places don't let you have guest is that true, can they really do that? If so which places should I avoid?

stayed at the garant for 2-3 weeks at a time for 8 years or better. never had a problem . chica friendly. will always go back there. stayed at other places, such as el candil and costa lunga, but that was with my wife . if u r single the garant is my choice. read other threads , they will give u good advice. as there r different opinions. but the garant was great for me.

i like the el candil...nice hotel, clean rooms and 3 blocks from the beach and nightlife/bars, etc.

avoid the AI's if you're looking for chica-friendly. i stayed at the Hamaca once, never again although the casino is very nice...

To answer the OP's question, no, guests are not allowed into the AI's overnight.
Seriously consider the Garant, it is a very nice and quiet hotel.

Hi there the web address is
Hotel Boca Chica Residencial El Candil, República Dominicana

I stayed at the El Candil for 16 days late february and loved the apartment style hotel. I have also stayed at the Garant and as stated it is a very clean nice hotel as well. All the small hotels in Boca Chica are guest friendly as far as I have seen in the last 11 years of going to BC. But for the extra money the apartment at the el candil was so much better for entertaining!! Have a great holiday!!
