All of the condos have associations. Some tenants pay the maintenance fee, some don't. That will never change. But if they don't want to put in new windows and doors, or paint the building or pay for a new roof, why should they? Or will 'someone' make them????

Heard today that someone from Windsor Ont. was watching the telly the other night and saw a report that Juan Dolio was going to be bought out by a big company so total reconstruction. He happened to know a friend of mine and called her to ask about it. According to what he saw all the older structures in JD were planned to be bought out and rebuilt.
She called me today to see what I had heard....told her it was news to me but anything is possible (I know what I want for my unit...).
I did hear Sunday that someone had been nosing around the Don Victor building to get an idea what the owners there were asking for their units so whoever put together the report that this fellow watched in Windsor may know something we don't!!

I think with the number of condos going up, buy the property across the street and build a service infrastructure. since most of these condos are for weekend use, services for those weekenders will be needed.
