Default Dejavue VS Riverview VS Hotel Bayahibe

Hi,

Can anyone tell me what is the difference between the three hotels (Dejavue, Riverview and Hotel Bayahibe) in terms of:

1. Location: which is the better location (near beaches, close to restaurants, near happenings)?
2. Price: Better price for the value?
3. Rooms: Cleaniness and all things in working condition?
4. Service: Staff friendly and accomodating?

Where can I find contact information, webpage, or pictures for the RIVERVIEW HOTEL and the DEJAVUE HOTEL?

Anyone... please help!

Jin

JIn,
I have seen all three..only stayed in two of these. First off I heard some not so great things about activity at Dejavue from friends, it didn't look especially clean or inviting. Just an opinion, maybe someone else had a great time there. The website is always being updated or something.

Riverview is convienient to La Romana city, if that is where you need to be. The "view" is not pretty and has the usual city smells. It was okay. I wouldn't call it clean or anything but alright. I needed to be near family and stayed there a couple of weeks ago. No food there, they made coffee in morning in the lobby, it was good. The Haitien guy who works the lobby at night was really sweet. I never found a website for this.

Hotel Bayahibe, I am a big fan. It is just adorable, the views are gorgeous. The place is clean and bright. This last month they were not serving dinner every night but were still doing breakfast. The resturant is upstairs on the third floor, the views are fabulous and food is lovely.

Bayahibe is a small village. There are buses right outside the colmado to either Dominicus beach or LaRomana. The beach in Bayahibe is in sight of the hotel. They have awebsite hotelbayahibe.com

If there is anything else specific just ask...

Wow, thanks again GringaRubia! I think with your suggestion, I am leaning towards booking a room in Hotel Bayahibe. By the way, does this hotel offer excursions, such as, snorkeling, sugar cane field trips, caves, and etc? Or are there excursion offices near by where I can inquire and make reservations directly with them? And which do you recommend? Thank you again!

The hotel bayahibe can hook you up with the snorkel excursion, they are right there. For the other trips, just take the little bus to Dominicus beach -20 pesos-and right outside of the Wyndham hotel, along that strip there are all kinds of tourist excursions and trip to take and info.

And yes, there is parking at the Hotel Bayahibe. That is what I meant.

I am going to pm to you a contact. Let me know if you don't get this info.
