Are there private classes or persons that tutor in reading and writing English anywhere near La Romana. Not school similar to ESOL that we have here in the United States?
...or even somebody who'd be willing to start! I wonder how many would be interested in this and if a class could be organized if there isn't one already. I've not found anybody who does it in a bit of searching. I hope my research skills just weren't very good!
i have a friend that lives on las americas highway in boca chica/andreas.he works for one of the tv stations.he teaches english.if your interested i'll you his number.hope this helps.

There are many evening schools in La Romana, as with many Dominican towns, teaching a variety of languages from English, Italian French and German. Dominicans want to learn a second language for a variety of reasons.
