What happened to casino Dominicus?? I stayed in Viva Wyndam palace Dominicus Beach ,and the brand new beautiful casino was closed.. I had also stayed there in October 2008 and it was closed then also..They said it was to reopen in January 2009, but I guess it never happened..Somebody lost lots of money because all shops and restaurants are gone as well..What a shame... Anybody knows let me know....DAVID

I've heard a couple of stories, among them that the building wasn't put together all that well, there was trouble amongst the decision makers and just last week I heard the most interesting one: that somebody won and "broke the bank". They used to say "reopening on XXX" but now it's undetermined. It was a great complex with a lot of promise for the region, projecting concerts in the theater and offering guests from the various hotels to gather easily.
