You've reiterated what I already told my friend. I know WE can't afford what would be a properly staffed private evacuation. And, honestly, I'm pretty convinced that an ambulance wouldn't do much good in rush hour traffic in the Cap. I'm sure you've seen the fact that virtually no one moves over for an ambulance.

Thus, my suggestion of a heli--but to make that affordable, one need a huge base of enrollees which are simply not present.

Also, my understanding is that many taxis won't take seriously injured people because they are afraid that they'll DIE on the way and be blamed for it? Comments?

Yes, I've witnessed MANY a severely injured or ill person arriving in a flat bed or doorless guagua.

Default Didn't get to yoga today......

We were painting and I just didn't think my poor back could take it (probably would have done it a world of good but I was too hot and sweaty to bother).

So you'll have to wait a bit for the rest of the story.

Maybe Thursday when we get together for coffee!
