Hi There Ruben

Well my husband and I are gonna be in Boca Chica on the 18th of Feb for 18 days. We are staying at the El Candil which is just up one block and around the corner from the Garant. We have stayed there as well but like the apartment style rooms at the Candil much better. We would like to go on an over night excursion to the North Coast. We have been to Punta Cana but would love to see the North!!! If you like you can PM me. I also know there is two other couples that are gonna be at the Candil for the whole month of February that are also interested in an overnight trip too. Feel free to message me and maybe we can set something up!!

Adios for now
Lizzard

Sorry, I can't tell you much as I have never stayed there. I have walked past Hotel Garant several times and from the outside it looks to be a nice clean hotel.

Here is a link. Hope this helps a little.

Welcome to Hotel Garant

About a 5 minute walk. Nice clean rooms, reasonably priced. Hot water, cable, lock box. Geared more toward singles than families.

I was at the beach Saturday and walked a friend up the hill to show him the Garant, el Candil, the Costa Lunga and the Calypso.

I'd agree that the Garant is about a five minute walk and add that we were asked for money only three times in that five minutes.

The hotel is very accommodating for me, I have stayed there several times. Each time I get this fixation on changing, I return. I will be there on Saturday and I can't wait!!!
