Default Where to stay??

I have researched over and over, recent visitors to BC how was your stay? I will be at the beach during the day, like to start early afternoon having a few. I really would like a good referral (recent) on where to stay clean, security and cost effective.

Thank you

The rate is a few bucks more but Hotel Zapata is right on the beach. The rate includes a small breakfast.

I second El Candil! Either Candil or Costalunga are both goog choices. I like the lay-out at candil a little better. the pool area is in a courtyard like area and they serve coffee, drinks and food there. SO it can get a little social. That is nice especialy if one is traveling solo.

The staff is great and they offer free airport pickup/dropoff.

One thing to some people might want to consider...
Since the administration changed hands in feburary nobody on staff speaks english (not too important to me). If that is important to you then i would check out Costalunga (Mario and his assistant speak very decent english).

They serve a decent breakfast at candil and most of the rooms have a kitchenette if you want to do some light cooking.

I keep on going back to candil. When i get there i feel like i am Home.

Oh...also the security is top notch, the maid staff efficient, strong hot water...etc etc

Are candil and zapata both "guest friendly"?

Most small hotels in BC are guest friendly, some of them will ask the guess to leave an ID at the front desk while there are at the hotel.

Default Internet at El Candil ?

Could anyone confirm what is the internet like at the hotel when you're a guest? Do they have any connection, is it free, WIFI, etc..?
