The El Candil is fine-but probably better for families. If you are traveling with a group of guys, you might like the Costalunga Hotel a little better. Rooms are large with small kitchen areas. There are usually a few girls passing by. Just my 2 cents
Three buddies and myself are going to Boca Chica beach in late February. Deciding where to stay. Definitely looking for "chica friendly" hotels. El-Candil looks like a great place, clean, secure, 2 bedroom apts, chica friendly etc., but it is at the far end of the beach and a couple of blocks off the beach. I can not tell from the map if the walk to the center of the beach is a far walk or not. Can anyone tell me how long a walk it is. Also, are there any hotels right in the middle of the main street that are chica friendly, secure(safe in room), clean, options for 2 bedroom apartment.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Hola
What happened ?
What are the hotels girl-friendly at BC ?
Gracias
the trick to BC is to venture out during the day, meet people, then hang out with them at night. most decent girls never go out unescorted down to calle duarte at night. try the old route 66....
This info is excellant. Also looking to golf. We were originally looking to go to Casa de Campos and play "Teeth of the Dog" one day but now it might be too far. Any suggestions on courses around Sousa?
Bronxboy...no surfing but we boogie borded in Jaco. Nice 6 foot waves. I have lived in Florida for the last 20 years so I have not seen waves since my Long Island days growing up around Jones Beach.
Try the Metro Country Golf course, 15 minutes from Boca Chica
