Tour Operators near/around Boca Chica

I'm wondering what "outfit/company" you might recommend for tours/excursions leaving from the Boca Chica area? Anyone want to share some positive experiences. We are not into the "shopping" thing, but rather the exploring and learning more about the D.R. kind of thing. Thank you.

There was a german lady operating a tour center on Duarte St. a few doors down from the swiss restaurant. She offers trips to Santo Domingo, Jeep Safaris, etc. I did the Saona Island excursion with her last year and it was good value for $65us I believe. Nice bus, good multilingual guide, and everything ran like clockwork.
