Default Ferry to la Romana from san Juan!!!!!!

I have just read an article today in the Caribbean Business here in San Juan that Ferries del Caribe the Ferry service between Mayaguez, PR and Santo Domingo is plaining to add another Ferry route between San Juan, PR- La Romana, DR this is intended to capitalize on the more than almost 200,000 Puertoricans that travel to the resorts in Punta Cana, and la Romana!!!! every year Conversations between Central Romana Corporation la Autoridad de Puertos de Puerto rico and Ferries del Caribe is very advanced and promptly they will be an official announcement . So far what they are saying is that this ferry will be more luxurious than its other one but it will have the same dimensions of cargo- transport than the one in service right now. This will be great a great bridge between the turisty east coast and San Juan Cruiseship hubs and Airport Hubs as well as commercial and Banking Hubs of the caribbean will be more accessible to Foreigners that wish to go to San Juan and find any product or Big North American chains that are not available in the Dominican Republic. Also the Goverment of Puerto rico is creating Duty Free pasess that will be available to Foreigners non-residents that need to Purchase goods in San Juan with a Tax Exemption!!!!!!!! I hope all of this iniciatives go thru.
