BC Short Trips

I will be in Boca Chica February 16-23 and very interested in exploring other parts of the island close by. I would like to join and share in expenses with anyone who might be interested. I am staying at the Garant, I love the hotels location and like Jersey Guy says "Boca is what you make of it". When your from upstate NY and you have an opportunity to escape the cold, its fun. You could take a less than 5 minute moto ride to Playa Andres. There are very few tourists, if any, at Playa Andres. There are also some very good local restaurants serving some very tasty fresh fish. I spent some time there last week and had a really nice time. It is a lot better if you have someone to go with you.

You can also take a walk in the Coral Hamaca AI area. They have 4-whellers for rent, a couple of shops and some nicer restaurants.

Also don't forget a day trip to the Zona Colonial. If you are adventurous do a little shopping at LaSirena and Plaza Lama.
