La Romana flight question

American just called and said they have changed their flights from Sat, Mon, and Thurs to Sun, Mon and Thursday....I was suppose to fly out on a Saturday so I was wondering it it would be worth the trouble to fly somewhere ekse and then drive or just go on Sunday...

this will be out first time to DR so not familiar with roads and such...

If you are staying in La Romana area you could fly into Santo Domingo and grab a taxi to the bus station, and a bus to La Romana and your hotel.

By taxi, approx 80 USD and 2 hours, by bus and gua guas, approx 3 USD per person and 3 to 4 hours but no luggage exept on your lap.
