Wow Steve - thanks for sharing those great photos of the Hamaca - we're going next month and they've done so much since last year!

What are those square structures on the beach in front of where the new pool is? I sort of remember that there were palapas there before.

Where is the lobby bar? I know - in the lobby. But is it in the same location in front of where the stores are? The last time we were there, a few of the stores were vacant - are they occupied now?

The new bars look great too - I'm so excited now - can't wait to see what everything looks like in person.

Those square structures on the beach are used now instead of palapas ...

The Lobby Bar remains with the same name ''Baccarat'' but was moved to the other side of the lobby where the bank and representatives were before . The casino became bigger taking the space of the old location of the bar . Most of the shops are there ( they opened an outside entrance to the casino breaking one of the shops ) but the place in front of the shops looks very different now ...

Oh, OK, now I can see from your picture where the casino was extended to - just a little walkway now in front of the stores. I used to like going down to that little coffee place across from the stores in the afternoon - looks like that's gone now.

Is the area (just beyond the reception area) where you can book sidetrips still there? When we were there last year it was located just before where the cashier was where you can change money.

Steve, thanks again for all the info. Hamaca and Boca Chica often get a bad review on the forums, but we love it.
