the airport exchange rates are not so bad either but as suggested do it in BC.....

That is not good info...DO NOT change money at the airport @ Global Cambio, they pay 29 Pesos/USD while the exchamge rate is 34. If there is still a Ban Reservas @ SDQ, then you can change money. All taxis take USD and the rates are quotes in USD, so no need to be ripped off in the airport.

Tamborista is correct just got back last night airport quoted me (so call good rate of )30.2 Peso/USD, rate in BC all day and everywhere 34.05 Peso/USD, rate at ATM was 34.49

RE: ATM...just be aware that you get charged an international fee of (i think 3usd)...so try to stick to the cambio's

This is also true at SDQ. Change only at Banco Reservas!!!
