What other options are there besides hotel living in boca chica?
I would like to spend more than a few weeks in D.R. boca chica,
what other options do i have?
i dont want to pay for a hotel for 2 or 3 months.
are there furnished apartments for rent in the boca chica area?

Villa Florencia is a great place but it is still in Boca Chica, and 1400 a month is way overpriced. You're better off renting in Santo Domingo (you'll get sick of BC in 2 weeks anyway) same place for 600-700 and with the difference you can rent a car for the whole month and travel all over the place, or go to BC every day.
