anybody know what might be the best place to give a donation in Boca Chica something that would go to the right place to help the kids mostly, maybe school suplys or an orphanage , maybe like $500, dont want to lug a bunch of extra baggage with me

The public system of health sends kids to a lab run by nuns which is up the road from Hamaca on the right. While the doctors exam is free, there is a charge for lab work and medicines. I'm sure the nuns would try to spead your donation out. (they could just be nurses, but it appears to be run by the church which has a nursing home very close.
