Look at Eagles and some of the larger colmados around the city.

Default Hooters in Santo Domingo

I visited the Hooters in New York City and I don't see the big deal about the place. The servers weren't at all attractive and the fried chicken wings tasted like it wasn't chicken at all.
I will visit Santo Domingo Hooters only because I have visited the Hard Rock Cafe, Fridays and Outbacks Steakhouse in SD and enjoyed the food and drinks.

I really don't even care that much about the girls, I'm a big fan of their hot wings. I'm not a sports guy either.

My brother has a load of stocks in Hooters, since the beginning. I'll have to check with him and see what he has to say.

i agree. i'm a fan of the food too

Hooters like anyother bar in SDQ will be successful based on training of thier employees and managers. If they have the right training and management, they will make it based on name and popularity of being seen there - same as Fridays and Hard Rock. If they have girls with class they will do extremely well - if they bring in trash due to pay, they will not survive. Remember, if you want to make a million here - you have to invest 3 million

I really think a far better idea would be to open a Hooter's clone in Sosua.
Simply replace the t with a k.

Is there much of a market for that in Sosua?

How would you compete with the existing fast food establishments on Pedro Clisante?

Tambo

Absolutely correct. The existing franchises have already established themselves, and have secured the best talent pool, in terms of employees. Any new-comer doesn't stand a snowball's chance in Punta Cana.
