Does anybody have information on travel, routes, interesting places and how to get around, along the border from Jimani up to Monte Cristi. Is there any local transportation between the localities?

I live in Jimani, and as far as public transportation, the transportation won't take you in the direction you want to go (Monte Cristi), which is a bit of a long travel from Jimani. The transportation will take you in the direction of Santo Domingo, (El Limon, Duverge, Azua, Bani...) and not towards Monte Cristi. You would have to travel from Santo Domingo. You could always rent an auto or travel in a group with other people. Let me know if you have some more question for Jimani. Good lUck!
