Can someone PLEASE help me find some information about a Barahona-based clinic/hospital? In the "neighborhood of '97, a clinic/hospital was built at Barahona through the Presbyterian Churches USA and local affiliates in the DR. I seem to recall tat the name of the clinic is/was AMA A SU PROXIMO [Love your neighbor]. I am NOT imagining this. If someone could PLEASE respond I woujld be very grateful.

I am soon to relocate to the DR for permanent missnary work and would like to visit the Barahona facility. THANKS

The only permanent missionary medical facility that I am aware of in Barahona is a clinic that belongs to the Children of the Nations. I will look into this for you but have never seen it on my trips.

Thanks for taking the time to respond. As I said earlier, I am NOT imagining all this. I am soon to return to the DR on a permanent basis [ based inthe La Romana/San Pedro end] and would like to know about other projects and clinics. Also literacy programs.
