What's happening in February? South West Coast

Hey All:

I'll be traveling back to the DR in February for about 2 1/2 weeks. I plan to stay in Santo Domingo but I also want to go to San Cristobal, Bani, Sosua, Boca Chica and maybe 1 more town. So, What is going on during the month of February? - Events, Carnivals, Holidays, Parties, Parades, etc.

Anything that you know of to include the date(s), location, sponsors, and details would be great!

February is carnival month in the DR, plus you have the Caribe World series happening in Santiago (North Central).
