Selling Dock Memberships

I heard yesterday that Kurri, and some of the town's politicians have formed a group and selling some sort of memberships to a small islands off the marina for boats. Any word?

Probably Khouri/Cury/Koury, any variation thereof..

Interesting bit...selling the islands or the docing rights?

Navi Koury the construction magnate from the area. and the membership is for the docing rights. It looks like the southwest is sllllowly opeing up.

I think, don't know for sure it is at playa Cayo, where is the sugar-company. Few years ago I spoke with tourism and they told me eco-tourism wanted to have a harbour and dock for repairing/storing boats. Because of the dirty canal behind and the wind/waves and dirt from the sea I didn't continue with this project.
Another possible project is remove all the reef at Quemaito to another beach to make a kind of port. The locals disagreed with this project but you never know.
