Hotel Najayo Beach
There is a small hotel right on Najayo Beach, about half an hour outside San Cristobal to the west. I stayed in it last year and it was very clean and comfortable with a restaurant and a small bar. If I remember correctly it was RD$1200 for a room with a larger one available for RD$1500. The number is 809-612-9057. They do not have a web site. I think in San Cristobal itself you are limited to cabanas. Najayo beach is hopping on the weekends and is safe swimming for little kids due to the breakwater that is said to have been put there by Trujillo.
