Can't find"esle" in my Spanish dictionary and I'm afraid of falling too far behind.

Arthritis should be the same, but pronounced 'artreetees' and spelt 'artritis'.
This is not always the case, as many of us have found to our cost on more than one occasion. I've got a list of 'false friends' somewhere - words like 'embarrassed' and 'embarazada' which sound like they should mean the same thing, but don't. I'll try to dig it out.
