lleno vs. vacio full/empty
encima vs. debajo - on top or above/below
delante vs. detras - front/behind

leaving ancho and estrecho, wide/narrow maybe?

Default Great!

Rellosk thanks for completing the quiz and Ricktoronto for filling in the gaps. Everything is correct. I just wanted to add: alto/bajo could be "tall/short".

If all goes well there will be a Part II later on.

Thanks

LDG.

What you thought - ancho=wide, estrecho=narrow

Estrecho also means 'Strait' in the nautical sense.

Doesn't bajo also mean "low" like that's a low price ?

Cut is a verb so wouldn't it be "cortar" not corto.

Yes. 'Alto' also means high in the sense of high prices.

Rick was right - 'corto' means 'I cut'. The infinitive, 'to cut', is as you say, 'cortar'.

Tsk tsk, Anna, I said "I cut" , I know the 1st person vs. infinitive.

A corte de pelo is a haircut for the vocabulary fans.
