Default Something I've never seen before

I'm just starting to learn spanish. I've decided to download a bunch of spanish songs (I found most of them by accident. Most of which I really like and are "newer" and by fairly well known artists...found that out talking to my friend in the DR.)
I finally found the lyrics to a couple of them, so now I can follow along and know that I'm singing...I may not understand yet, but at least I'll be singing the right words. Anyway, I noticed something that I had never seen before in the lyrics. It's a "A" with...**** don't have it on my keyboard, but it's a little squiggly (for a lack of a better descriptive) over top of the A. And it's in the middle of the word.
Here's an example: "si tantas veces juraste que tu me amarAas" (the squiggly above the big a)
I've never seen a capitalized letter in the middle of the word.
What does it mean?
How is it properly pronounced?

It should be an accent over the a, but sometimes when you take formatting from one format to another the characters don't take. It should read "tu me amarás."

For pronunciation, it basically just means the accent goes on that sylable, as it represents an exception to the way Spanish words are generally accented.

For spelling, it's a long list of stupid rules that I think should have been long abandoned, but it helps to keep the masses (and foreigners) from thinking they are educated for a few extra semesters.

Default my name

Hi Loptka

I'm just learning spanish as well. Mami chula is a nickname I got the first time I visited the DR. As a joke I called my friend Papi chulo...and he retaliated and called me Mami chula, so it's been an ongoing thing with us....so it has nothing to do with who i am, just an inside little thing.
