How do i say rash in spanish? As in, I have a rash....like an allergic rash.

Dont know why this isnt in spanish for beginners books haha

Rash is "sarpullido" or you could say "reacción alérgica de la piel" in case that is too technical.

Ah thank you....that will help me to explain in spanglish to my boyfriend haha. So do I pronounce sarpullido as sarpuyido?
And I can just say tengo sarpullido?

saidto me the other day as "erupcion" accent over "o" that I don't know how to do. Indicating a rash as a reaction to a prescription.

Yes, the ll sound is more or less the same as y. Although it might not be 100% correct it will get the meaning across. Erupción, as johne said, is another word that you could use, but again, add "de la piel" to avoid confusion.

Muchos gracias....I will use all of them until he understands what I mean. Haha. Either that or I will just text it to him. Good job my doctor speaks english otherwise i would be there all day!!

I hear "picason" or "hinchason" used to describe a rash. If it is real swollen use "hinchason" or "reaccion alergica" if it is real bad and if it is just kind of red but not to swollen I would say "picason".

as in itch or sting?

By the time this girl finishes with all of these definitions for a rash her novio is going to run for the hills.
