Since yours trully's spanish is most basic, I'd much appreciate your help to translate the following:

"The choices you make dictate the life you lead"

There are a lot of ways to look at this one.
1) Las decisiones que tomes van a dictar (trazar) la vida que llevas
2) El camino que cojes va a determinar la vida que llevas
3) Las alternativas que seleccionas van a determinar la vida que llevas

Or words to that effect....I never get subjunctive all that pat....

ar verbs: tomar, seleccionar, llevar (Nonetheless you have two different endings: tomes, seleccionas

The correct ending is es.

er verbs: coger
Correct ending: as

With relatively few exceptions, the present subjunctive is formed upon the root of the Ist person, singular, present indicative. The -o of that form is replaced with the so-called "opposite vowel". For a verb of the first conjugation (-ar), the opposite vowel is e, and for verbs of the 2nd and 3rd conjugations (er/ir), the opposite vowel is a.

ar
tomar - Las decisiones que tomes . . .

er/ir
escoger - El camino que escojas . . .
sufrir - El dolor que sufras mañana . . .
