the words substantial and subscription
While reading El Dia newspaper this morning the word sustancial was used. I thought that the word should be spelled substancial so I looked it up in my dictionary ( I use a Vox New College Spanish and English dictionary).
This is from the English to Spanish part:
substantial – substancial
In the Spanish to English part I found:
substancial – substantial
I also found the following under sustancia:
sustancia, sustancial, sustanciar, sustancioso, etc. = substancia, substancial, substanciar, substancioso, etc.
Does substantial have two different correct forms of spelling in Spanish (sustancial y substancial)?
Also in the English to Spanish part:
subscription – subscripcion
But subscripcion is not listed in the Spanish to English part.
However I did find:
suscripcion – subscription
Which is the correct translation of subscription (subscripcion o suscripcion)?
